Thomas Fell & Company 1840 "Wild Rose" pattern blue and white transferware meat platter

Blue and white transfer printed design surrounded by the Wild Rose edge pattern, features a country estate, Nuneham Courtenay in Oxfordshire, Seat of the Earl of Harcourt, in the grounds laid out by Capability Brown c.1780.
Based upon an engraving by W. Cooke after a drawing by S. Owen published on February 1st of 1811 by Vernon, Hood and Sharpe of Poultry and W. Cooke of 12, York Place, Pentonville.

Platter is 16.25” x 13” Weight is about 6lbs

Condition: excellent commensurate with age, with no cracks, chips or repairs. Minor discoloration and craquelure on reverse
