This wonderfully large Chinese ceramic vase or storage jar dates from the Ming dynasty(1368-1644) With a beige glaze and four applied handles along the high shoulders of the vessel and two dragon reliefs flanking either side, it's a wonder of simplicity and beauty. The interior is clean with no staining. The base of the vessel is concave and has three faint marks most likely from pads at some point in its life.
